Ep 45: Get Rid of the Competition: Jumping Hurdles with Trevor Thoma, Rideshine

Trevor Thoma, CEO, and Co-founder for Rideshine, authentically shares some fantastic advice on product-market-fit; over-coming competition; hiring; market size; listening to the customer; showing up like you belong.

On competition – “We treat hurdles like opportunities. If you were running from point A to point B with 100 other people, and there were no hurdles, you’d all end up at point B. It’d be a lot of competition at point B.  But if in between, there is a hurdle that, say, 75 people can’t get over. Now, there are only 25 people [competitors] at point B.”

Trevor shares some fantastic stories about showing up like you belong, and guess what it works! As well as sage advice on evaluating your market for scalability.

Trevor talks about how they went about getting into an accelerator; more how it really did accelerate Rideshine.
